Claim & Arbitration Officer - KL Eco City

  • Exercise independent judgment to make appropriate claims arbitration decisions and determinations.
  • Utilize conflict resolution and mediation skills to liaise with external customers and internal departments regarding claims.
  • Manage assigned daily tasks related to Claims & Arbitration, ensuring timely processing within the given turnaround time (TAT).
  • Conduct investigations, verifications, and checks on claims and arbitration cases, adhering to company policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Handle claims and arbitration complaints/appeals, providing appropriate solutions and resolutions within the stipulated timeframe to external customers and internal departments.
  • Forward valid claims/arbitration cases to the finance department for payment or fine processing.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation, including correspondence, reports, and analysis, as required.
  • Safeguard confidential claims and arbitration-related information, including customer and company data, across all platforms.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
  • Stay updated on company products and policies; conduct training sessions or briefings for team members when necessary.
  • Expedite urgent claims or arbitration cases by coordinating with relevant parties as needed.
  • Assist superiors in monitoring daily operations and team performance.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks or additional duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong negotiation, decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Minimum one year of experience in claims or arbitration handling.
  • Bachelor's degree in any related field.
