Area Marketing Sales (Melaka)

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing market business, leading the sales team, achieving regional sales targets, and maintaining key account customers relationships to drive parcel volume growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

A. Market Development & Business Expansion

  • Conduct market research and analysis within the assigned area
  • Identify potential customers and business growth opportunities
  • Develop and implement market expansion plans to increase parcel volume
  • Develop and maintain key accounts and VIP merchants
  • Follow up on quotation, contract signing and payment collection to ensure compliant operations

B. Sales Team Management

  • Lead and manage the sales team
  • Set sales targets and performance KPI
  • Provide coaching and sales training to team members
  • Conduct daily team management including task assignment and performance assessment

C. Performance Achievement & KPI Management

  • Achieve regional sales targets (revenue, parcel volume, contribution profit etc.)
  • Monitor key indicators such as customer base, complaint rate, bad-debt risk
  • Analyze business data and prepare regular sales reports and improvement actions

D. Customer Relationship & Service Quality

  • Maintain good customer relationships
  • Handle customer complaints and operational issues promptly
  • Conduct regular visits to key customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
  • Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service and Finance departments to ensure service quality

 

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience
  • Experience in logistics / courier / e-commerce industry is an added advantage
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Data analysis and reporting ability
  • Team leadership and coaching capability
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Result-oriented and proactive
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel
  • Able to work or during weekends/public holidays when required by business operations.

 

Working Hours

  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday 
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm; Saturday: 9am to 1pm
